I lived in Goole between 1971 to 1976, when the streets were full of kids with feather cuts.  I lived in Marshfield Road, (where I got knocked of my bike by a Ford Zephyr - style or what)  and went to Alexandra Street school, where my sister and I had many a fight!

What a place - talk about the University of Life!  I still have relatives there, and sometimes, because of a misguided sense of nostalgia, I think fondly of it.  My mum still LOVES Goole and would love to move back.
