I was born in Old Goole in 1943 and attended Old Goole Board School then Goole Modern School and onto Selby Tech. I left Goole in 1962 to join the Air Force, met and married a US GI and now live in Alamogordo NM. Thankfully I still get to return as I have many relatives still in the area. I enjoy reading the Goole Times on a regular weekly bases.

The rising sun school of Wado-Ryu are a Goole Based club who have been running for 5years and have recently moved to the Scouts Hall. Training on a Tuesday Evening 8-10pm.
